This test measures the candidates’ ability in four language skills i.e. Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking which is designed to for those who are planning to travel to English speaking country or have to live and work in English speaking environment.
IELTS is accepted by most of the British, American, Australian, Canadian, New Zealand and many more countries’ educational institutions i.e. college an universities for higher Education from abroad to get enrollment in to a college or university. It is also widely accepted by more than 10,000 academic institutions and companies worldwide for working and visa purposes. IELTS is one of the fastest growing test methods in the world which is run over 120 countries and increasing in number. This test is taken as the valid indicator to level the English ability of a candidate with his score.

IELTS Test Format – A test of all four language skills

IELTS is a test of your language skills in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. IELTS is available in two test formats: Academic or General Training. There are four parts – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The total test time is 2 hours and 55 minutes. All test takers take the same Listening and Speaking tests but different Reading and Writing tests.
Listening, Reading and Writing must be completed on the same day, with no breaks in between them. The order in which these tests are taken may vary. The Speaking test will either be after a break on the same day as the other three tests, or up to a week before or after the other tests. This will depend on your test centre.
Among these four tests, Listening, Reading and Writing must be in one day but the Speaking test date may be either before these test or after the day of written test. But no need to worry, you will be informed by us or from test center such as IDP or British Council. Do not rely on information given by other parties.

  • Listening 30+10 minutes

What is the Difference between Academic and General Training Module ?

The difference between IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training is in the subject matter of the Reading and Writing sections. Both the Listening and Speaking will remain same. So, first of all consult with our counselors to ensure that you choose the right module for the preparation. Please note that all the students who are planning to apply for Study Visa to study in abroad must go for Academic module.

How to register for IELTS Final Test ?

We are authorized test registration center for the IELTS test dates so we can simply book your test for where ever in the world you are and want to sit your test across the country. If you are overseas and want to sit test also we can support you. You must register for your test with us at least 13 days prior the intended test date but sometimes the seats can be finished earlier or if there are available seats, we may book your test just few days before the test day as well so, confirm with us. We recommend you contact us earlier and reserve your seats. You must pay NRs 19,500/- for exam registration in Nepal which is your test fees. Please contact at our office and speak with our one of the IELTS support staffs to check the availability and make payment of your test fees then send us your copy of passport (first and last bio pages) to our email address info@beconedu.com.np so that we will register for your test.

How to get IELTS Results ?


Results will be published on 13th day of your written test. You can check the results by contacting us so that our support staffs can assist you. You may also find your online results on IDP: Australia and British Council website. To obtain your original TRF, you need to give us an application so that we can collect on your behalf and deliver it to you from our corporate office. 1.) Listening : The total duration for this part is thirty minutes, and it is further divided into four parts. The students need to answer forty types of various questions.
2.) Reading: The total duration for this part is sixty minutes and comprises forty questions. It will have three different text sections, which you have to read and answer accordingly.
3.) Writing: The total duration for this part is sixty minutes, which has two questions. The students need to write two essays of 250 words.
4.) Speaking: This section's total duration ranges between eleven to fourteen minutes, and students need to give a face-to-face interview. This is to check the students' verbal communication as per the country where he/she wants to pursue education.
